Backend-focused Java role building and migrating data-driven Spring Boot microservices on AWS for airport data services.
Overview
At Brussels Airport Company, I took on a backend-leaning Java role within an amazing team under the Data Service Delivery unit. The focus was all about bringing together data from various internal and external partners, transforming it, and exposing it again with the proper access controls for the right consumers. I contributed to building a modern landscape of Spring Boot microservices running on AWS and helped migrate several legacy on-prem applications into this new cloud-based environment.
